After a thorough planning lesson last week, the children started constructing their very own pavilions. We had pavilions being built for animals, sports spectators, children at break times and many more.
Another good PE lesson, learning to attack a goal through using their passing and dribbling skills.
This week in music, Jade class recreated their ostinatos using instruments.
Earlier on this week, the children began their unit on coordinates. First, they used clear instruction to guide their ‘Where’s Wally’ character round a grid. Then, they used translations to move the Teddy bear around the grid.
Jade class became very creative in last weeks music lesson. They created their very own obstinatos using sounds from a river. Then, they bravely performed them.
This term, the children are working towards making their very own pavilion! They used sweets and cocktail sticks to form a structure, working together to solve issues surrounding stability.
During science we are learning all about electricity. In this lesson Jade class created circuits, identifying how the components work together to allow a constant electrical current.
Today Jade class participated in a freeze frame exercise based on our book ‘The House with the Chicken Legs’
Well done to these children for winning certificates this week. Miss Dooley is so proud of you.
